It’s 1930 and Prohibition is in full swing! On the brink of the Great Depression, American Gangsters are in the limelight, making millions through bootlegging and running thousands of speakeasies! In silk suits, wearing diamond rings, and beautiful women by their sides, American Gangsters such as Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, and Public Enemy Number One, John Dillinger, were in their heyday! Illegal drinking establishments popped up everywhere funded with booze from some of America’s most notorious gangsters!
On Saturday, March 18th we’re taking you back to the 1920s and 30’s, inviting you to The Plum Island Speakeasy, where anything goes! Come as a bootlegging Gangster, a Flapper, a famous movie star, or come as you are! Get your mugshot taken, smoke cigarettes, (the fake smoke kind of course), drink smuggled wine, beer, and booze, and most importantly dance the night away with a live DJ playing all your favorite hits, so make sure to wear those dancing shoes! A night full of fun, cocktails, good company, dancing, and stepping outside the law!! (So to speak!) We hope to see you there!!
